Summary

  • The changes made to the COVID-19 Guidance Document for LTCHs, and the Minister’s Directive: COVID-19 Surveillance Testing and Access to Homes include in effect July 7, 2020: Updates to Visitor Policy; and as of June 30th, Individuals who repeatedly test ‘false positive’ with rapid antigen tests may switch to solely PCR testing.

Actions

  • Caregiver maximums lifted. Outdoor visits up to 10 people. Indoors, 2 caregivers, 2 general visitors. Cohorting residents outdoors relaxed if 85% residents and 70% staff are fully vaccinated. Testing guidance changes to sole PCR test within 7 days if evidence of 3 negative rapid antigen/pcr tests within a 30 day period.
